As one of the three Council appointed representatives (the others being Cllr Jordan Meade and the Mayor of Gravesham) I was delighted to attend the Regatta Committee's 2018 AGM held in the Council Chamber. The outgoing Chair Ian Stevenson, who has served the committee for many years, was presented with a few gifts from the committee to mark his long service. The Mayor of Gravesham Cllr Harold Craske kindly hosted a small reception in Ian's honour.
The Regatta is very important to our town with over 170 years of history and I am delighted to play a small part.
