When the above picture was taken the verge was in a maintained state.
This is not the case now and the responsibility of this lies with the owners. It had become quite a safety hazard when looking to come out of New House Lane for driving and with people crossing.
I was contacted by residents and although this is not their responsibility I ask the local County Councillor Dr Lauren Sullivan to get involved and Kent County Council have cut back the parts of the grass which have impacted on safety and visibility.
The rest of the visual look of the site is the responsibility of the owner and I have asked Council Officers to contact the site owners to sort this out immediately.
I will update the community and those residents who took the time to contact me when I know more.
