Delighted to be back again this morning after the elections hosting with colleagues the regular @graveshambc Councillor Surgery for Coldharbour & Perry St residents held on every Third Saturday of the month from 9.30am-10.30am at Shears Green Court Lounge. #notjustatelectiontime

Honoured to be confirmed as the new ⁦@graveshambc⁩ Deputy Leader of the Council & Cabinet Member for Strategic Environment at Annual Council tonight. Thanks to Group Colleagues & Council for this privilege & I pay tribute to Lee for his service as Deputy Leader before me. Lauren becomes the new Cabinet Member for Community and Leisure after six years in this role both as Shadow Cabinet Member and Cabinet Member. Thanks to all Officers for their work in my previous Portfolio.

Delighted to be the nominee for Deputy Leader and to hold the Strategic Environment Portfolio of @graveshambc to Annual Council on Tuesday. Humbled and grateful to @graveshamlabour Group colleagues for the opportunity. Even more pleased with the 50/50 gender balanced Cabinet!

Went to a very wet Street Party in #Coldharbour & Perry St Ward yesterday held in honour of the coronation - great to see the community come together and have fun despite the great British weather! Thanks to all those that organised it! ⁦ @drlsullivan

Thank you so much to the residents of Coldharbour and Perry Street for supporting Christina, Narinder and I in the 2023 ⁦ @graveshambc⁩ elections and for helping towards a ⁦@graveshamlabour⁩ majority. We look forward to working for residents over the next four years. The full results were: BLACK, Jeremy Robert (Conservative Party) 485 HARDING, Brenda (Conservative Party) 481 MOCHRIE-COX, Shane Trevor (Labour Party) 972 ROLLES, Christina Marie (Labour Party) 957 THANDI, Narinder-Jit Singh (Labour Party) 953 WHITE, George Edward (Conservative Party) 451 There were 39 Seats in 17 Wards available in the 2023 Gravesham Borough Council Election due to new Boundary Changes. Please see elsewhere on this site to see the new Boundaries. The final composition of the Council after the election results were Labour 22 Seats and Conservatives 17 Seats.

Great to be able to support our fantastic @SECAmbulance staff on the picket line today at their base in #Coldharbour Northfleet. Like all our NHS they deserve our support & better pay and conditions - the support from the public was amazing.

Delighted to visit the construction site of the new Fleet Leisure (former Bowaters) sports centre today in #Coldharbour with the developers as Phase One of the project is installed. The pitches, lighting, fencing etc is all due to be in ready to open Phase One in March 2023. The materials are now all here and on site which has been a large part of the delay. Residents will start to see the infrastructure going in over the next few weeks after Christmas.

Third Saturday of the month today 9.30-10.30am meant it was @ChristinaRolles4 and I #Coldharbour Ward @graveshambc Councillor Surgery at our new location! Shears Green Court Communal Lounge off Haynes Road DA11 7JR. Thanks to residents that came. Casework gained will be worked on.
